When starting to train a cat, it is advisable to equip an instrument that emits a fixed type of sound, such as a whistle or crackling (an instrument that has a bell that rings with each press). such sounds help to attract the cat's attention and let him know that he is undergoing training. the usual method is to use a whistle or a bell and then offer food to the cat. thus, he can associate the sounds made by these instruments with the training session, and without them, he will not understand why you are giving him a food reward and will consider it just a gift.

 Calling the cat

 For example, to train a cat to come to its owner at will, musted to start from mealtime. It can be started by calling the cat from short distances, rewarding him - when he comes - with some food, and then the cat will get used to the command.

Using the bathroom 

It is possible to train and breed cats to use the toilet, but this task is a bit difficult.

In normal situations, the cat should have a litter Bowl that he knows he has to leave his waste in, and the trick in this matter is to change the location of the bowl constantly bowl; first, it must be taken to the bathroom, then it must be gradually brought closer to the toilet chair so that the cat gets used to approach it.

Cats can be encouraged to lick hands by rewarding them and preventing a reward from them as a way to reduce biting, as the breeder can put ready-made paste food (which can be purchased at the pet store) on his hand or fingers, make the cat lick it while chanting the word (gentle), and if the cat starts biting, the breeder should calmly pull his hand away from her.

 Game-search

The cat can be taught to search through a simple game, by using the hands by placing the food that the cat likes in one hand while leaving the other hand, empty, or in the way of using small-sized bowls, put the food in one bowl and leave the other bowl empty.

And if the cat licked the hand or clicks on a bowl of bowls, then it can be uncovered and given her a treat, and if some hand or purr starts with her paws, the breeder can firmly (calmly) tell her.

 Target game 

The cat can be trained on the target game by using a tennis ball, a stick, or even a pencil, and training the cat to go to this goal constantly, but after choosing the goal, the same goal should be used in each training, meaning the goal should not be changed every time.

For example, you can play the target game here with the cat by using a stick, either homemade or purchased at a pet supply store.

In this game, the breeder teaches the cat to pay attention to the target by extending the stick slightly in front of the cat's nose, and the moment the cat touches the stick, the breeder pats it and rewards it, and the breeder must tell the cat when it moves towards the target reliably the word (goal) to store this behavior in her memory.

This command is one of the most famous commands given to dogs during their training, and it is the most simple and easy type of command in education, and no reason can prevent the cat from learning this command as well, and that is by receiving a reward every time it responds to the command.

When the cat is sitting, the breeder can pat her and reward her, the cat will get used and will sit whenever she wants food, and the breeder can say the word (sit) when he feels that the cat is about to sit down.

It can then be attracted to the place where it wants to sit, through the use of a toy target stick, and whenever the cat does this correctly, the breeder pats it and rewards it with food she likes.

Staying on the carpet 

A carpet for cats can be made by placing a piece of cloth or a towel on a table or sofa; cats are curious creatures by nature and love to explore everything new they see, and as soon as the cat steps on the carpet, the breeder pats her, throws food for her as a reward away from the carpet, then the cat will return to the carpet to throw food again.

So as soon as the cat enters the carpet voluntarily again, the breeder must offer her food as a reward and give her an order saying (stay here), and this is to encourage the cat later to use this carpet and stay on it when eating, and this carpet can be used when going to the vet as well so that she remains motionless during the examination.

Search the box

Cats like to explore, so when you bring a box, the cat will jump happily to explore what's inside, and this habit can be exploited to make the cat love her box (the box in which she is carried outside the house) so that the breeder hides treats and food inside the box, and when the cat jumps towards him, he pats her and rewards her by giving her a part of it.

When the cat asks for food later, it can be put in the box and signal her to take it from there, then the cat will voluntarily enter the box, and she can be rewarded by giving her food to encourage her after each trip outside.
